1) Context: where Acts 3:15–17 sits in the chapter

Acts 3 records the healing of the lame man at the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:1–10). Peter then explains that the miracle is not by human power, but by the power and Name of Yahusha (Acts 3:12, 16).

Purpose of the message:

• Exalt Yahusha.
• Confront sin truthfully.
• Offer repentance and restoration.

2) Phrase-by-phrase teaching (Acts 3:15–17)

A) “...and killed the Prince of life...” (v. 15)

Peter identifies the seriousness of Israel’s rejection: the people chose Barabbas and rejected the Holy and Just One (Acts 3:13–14).

Who is the “Prince of life”?

• The word can also be understood as Author / Originator / Leader of life.
• Yahusha is not merely a teacher of life. Yahusha is the source and giver of life.
