In Ezekiel 9, YAHUAH commands that a mark be placed on the foreheads of those who sigh and cry over the abominations happening in the land. This shows that YAHUAH sees the hearts of those who grieve over sin, rebellion, idolatry, injustice, and uncleanness.
The mark is not only about outward protection. It reveals belonging. Those who are marked are set apart because their hearts agree with YAHUAH’s holiness. They do not celebrate what He calls wicked. They mourn over it, turn from it, and desire righteousness.
In Revelation 7:1-3, the servants of YAHUAH are sealed in their foreheads before judgment is released. This connects with Ezekiel 9 because both passages show that YAHUAH knows how to preserve His own before destruction comes.
The forehead points to the place of the mind, thoughts, agreement, and identity. To be sealed in the forehead means the servant belongs to YAHUAH in mind, obedience, loyalty, and worship.
