“Foreigners will rebuild the walls of your city, and their kings will serve you. For though I have destroyed you in my anger, I will now have mercy on you through my grace.”

• This verse speaks of restoration after judgment: YAHUAH corrects, then shows mercy and rebuilds what was broken.
• The pattern is consistent throughout Scripture: discipline → repentance/turning → mercy → rebuilding → righteousness displayed.
• In Messiah, we learn the deepest meaning of covering: not hiding sin, but being clothed with righteousness and restored into covenant order.

Covering

• A covering is protection and shelter, but also a set-apart boundary (what is under YAHUAH’s authority).
• In Scripture, covering is often connected to:
  • blood (atonement / life)
  • garments (identity / priesthood / righteousness)
  • wings (refuge / trust)
  • covenant (belonging / protection / correction)

Righteousness

• Righteousness is being right with YAHUAH and walking in what is right.
• It includes:
  • faith/trust in YAHUAH
  • obedience to His Word
  • clean hands and a clean heart
  • justice, mercy, humility
