Key Theme

Yahusha shows us perfect submission to the Father’s will. Through Him, we learn to live from heavenly position, eternal vision, obedience, and alignment with YAHUAH’s Kingdom.

1. Yahusha Doing the Father’s Will

These scriptures show that Yahusha did not move independently from the Father. His words, works, judgment, and obedience were fully aligned with the will of YAHUAH.

• John 5:30 — “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”
• John 6:38 — “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”
• John 8:28–29 — “Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”
• John 14:31 — “But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do.”
• Matthew 26:39 — “And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”
• John 4:34 — “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”
• John 5:19 — “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

Study Note

Yahusha’s obedience teaches us that true sonship is not self-led. It is surrendered, attentive, obedient, and aligned with the Father’s will. He did not act from flesh, pressure, ambition, or independence. He moved by what He heard, saw, and received from the Father.

• Where am I asking YAHUAH to bless what I have not surrendered?
• Am I moving from obedience or from self-will?
• What would it look like to say, “Not my will, but Yours,” in this area?
