Foundation Scriptures

• Ezekiel 34 — YAHUAH rebukes false shepherds, promises to seek His scattered sheep, feed them, heal them, strengthen them, judge between sheep, and set up His servant David as one Shepherd over them.
• John 10:11–18 — Yahusha reveals Himself as the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep.
• Matthew 7:13–14 (KJV) — The gate to life is strait and narrow, and few find it.
• Matthew 19:24 (KJV) — It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Elohiym.
• Matthew 7:7–8 — Ask, seek, and knock; the door is opened to the one who knocks.
• Isaiah 35:8–10 (NLT focus) — The redeemed walk on the Highway of Holiness with joy, gladness, and safety. Note: Isaiah 35 ends at verse 10, so this teaching centers on verses 8–10.

1. YAHUAH Promises To Shepherd His Own Sheep — Ezekiel 34

Ezekiel 34 shows YAHUAH’s heart against corrupt shepherding. The shepherds of Yashar’el were feeding themselves instead of feeding the flock. They did not strengthen the weak, heal the sick, bind up the broken, bring back the driven away, or seek the lost.

Teaching point: YAHUAH does not abandon His scattered sheep. When human shepherds fail, YAHUAH Himself rises up as Shepherd, Judge, Healer, Gatherer, and King.

What YAHUAH says He will do in Ezekiel 34

• Seek the lost — YAHUAH goes after the scattered sheep.
• Deliver the flock — He rescues them from places where they were prey.
• Feed them in good pasture — He brings them to a safe and nourishing place.
• Bind up the broken — He restores those who were wounded.
• Strengthen the sick — He gives strength to the weak.
• Judge between sheep and sheep — He corrects what is unjust inside the flock.
