At the last supper, Yahusha took bread and the cup and said:

• “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” (Luke 22:19)
• “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.” (Luke 22:20)

This was not given as empty ritual. It is a covenant teaching with a daily spiritual reality: Yahusha is the Bread of Life, the Word made flesh, and His blood brings cleansing that reaches the conscience when received by faith and obedience from the heart.

1) The bread: Yahusha the Bread of Life + the Word made flesh

A) Yahusha is the Bread of Life

Yahusha teaches that true life is not sustained by physical bread alone:

• John 6:35 — “I am the bread of life…”
• John 6:51 — “I am the living bread…”
• Deuteronomy 8:3 — man lives “by every word that proceeds from the mouth of YAHUAH”

Understanding:

The bread points beyond food. It points to life from YAHUAH, received through Yahusha.

B) Yahusha is YAHUAH’s Word made flesh

• John 1:1–3, 14 — the Word was with Elohiym, was Elohiym, and became flesh
• Matthew 4:4 — Yahusha quotes Torah: life comes by every word of Elohiym

Understanding:

To “eat” the bread spiritually is to receive Yahusha as the living Word, and to allow YAHUAH’s Word to enter the inner life, reshape the mind, and govern the walk.
