Missing Context: What It Means To Stay Steadfast

To be steadfast means to remain firm, stable, faithful, and unmoved. A steadfast believer is not perfect, but they are planted. They keep returning to YAHUAH’s Word, His ways, His correction, and His truth.

Psalm 1 compares the righteous person to a tree planted by streams of water. That tree does not survive because the weather is always easy. It survives because its roots are in the right place.

Key understanding: The issue is not whether winds come. Winds will come. The issue is whether the heart is rooted in YAHUAH or rooted in people, emotions, fear, trends, false doctrine, or personal understanding.

Ephesians 4:14–16 — The Wind of Doctrine

Ephesians 4 warns believers not to remain spiritually immature, tossed back and forth by every wind of doctrine.

What causes instability:

• Lack of grounding in Scripture
• Following personality instead of truth
• Being moved by emotion instead of discernment
• Receiving teaching without testing it
• Confusing popularity with truth
• Being impressed by spiritual language without checking spiritual fruit

What brings maturity:

• Truth spoken in love
• Submission to Yahusha Messiah as the Head
• Growth in the Body through proper order
