Scriptures on YAHUAH’s Provision
Fear can reveal a heart wound tied to rejection and a lack of rootedness in love. When fear governs us, it pushes us toward compromise and double-mindedness. From that unstable place, people may use control and manipulation—works of the flesh that align with “witchcraft” (sorcery) in Scripture.
When we are not rooted in YAH’s love and acceptance, fear can operate like bondage and a stronghold in the mind (Romans 8:15; 1 John 4:18; 2 Corinthians 10:4–5). Yet Elohiym did not give us a spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). If fear rules the heart, it becomes a snare that pressures us to compromise and to seek approval or safety in people rather than trusting YAH (Proverbs 29:25; John 12:42–43). YAH also warns His people not to fear what the world fears, and reveals Himself as the One we must regard as set-apart—He is either a sanctuary to us or a stone of stumbling to those who reject His ways (Isaiah 8:11–14, NKJV). That compromise often produces double-mindedness—an unstable, divided heart that cannot stand firm in faith (James 1:6–8; James 4:8; Matthew 6:24). From that instability, the flesh may reach for control through manipulation, but Scripture warns that such works belong to the works of the flesh and are judged by YAH; rebellion and control are compared to witchcraft, and “witchcraft/sorcery” is listed among the works of the flesh (1 Samuel 15:23; Galatians 5:19–21).
