Quick reference (speaking Life)

• Proverbs 18:21: Your tongue releases life or death. You will eat the fruit of what you speak.
• Speak Life = words that agree with Yahuah’s heart: truth, mercy, comfort, correction with humility, and hope.
• Matthew 12:33–37: Your words reveal your root. “Idle words” are counted. Words can justify or condemn.
• Luke 6:43–45: “Good treasure” produces good words. Your mouth exposes what is stored in you.
• Mark 11:12–21: Leaves without fruit are judged. Speech that only “sounds spiritual” but lacks righteous fruit is empty.
• Job 42:7: Yahuah’s wrath burned because Job’s friends spoke wrongly about Him and wounded Job with accusation.
• Psalms + Proverbs: the righteous pray for guarded lips and choose words that heal.

1) Proverbs 18:21 — the tongue is a life-or-death instrument

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Yahuah designed words to be “seed.” Your mouth can:

• Speak Life: build, heal, strengthen, guide, restore, and point to Yahuah’s truth.
• Speak Death: accuse, shame, curse, crush, distort Yahuah’s character, and multiply fear.

Proverbs does not only warn that words are powerful. It says you will eat the fruit. The speaker becomes the first partaker of what they release.
