Main idea: We are saved by YAH’s grace, not by works. But true grace does not produce careless living. Grace awakens love, reverence, obedience, gratitude, and costly devotion. Because YAHUAH gave His best through YAHUSHA, we respond by giving Him our best — not leftovers.

What “costly devotion” actually means

Costly devotion means giving YAHUAH what is precious, first, weighty, and meaningful — not what is convenient, unwanted, rushed, or leftover.

It does not mean we can buy salvation.

It means our love for YAHUAH becomes visible through what we are willing to surrender, prioritize, and offer back to Him.

If something costs nothing, it may still be useful — but it may not reveal devotion.

Costly devotion asks:

• Do I give YAHUAH my first attention or only my leftover time?
• Do I give YAHUAH my best obedience or only partial obedience?
• Do I bring Him my whole heart or only what remains after everything else has taken from me?
• Do I honor Him as King, or do I treat Him as an afterthought?

1. Grace saves us before we ever bring an offering

Grace comes first. We do not give to YAHUAH so He will love us. We give because He already loved us first.

Ephesians 2:8–9 teaches that we are saved by grace through faith, not by works. Salvation is YAH’s gift.

This means:

• We cannot earn salvation.
• We cannot purchase forgiveness.
• We cannot make ourselves righteous through offerings.
• We cannot boast in what we give.
