Ruth is a short story set in the days of the Judges that shows covenant faithfulness (chesed), redemption through a kinsman-redeemer (go’el), and YAHUAH’s providence in ordinary life. It also preserves the lineage that leads to David—and ultimately points forward to Messiah.
