- 2 kinds of “fear” in Scripture
What the spirit of fear does
- Fear of man brings a snare (trap). (Proverbs 29:25)
- Attempts to put you into bondage (to tie you up spiritually). (Romans 8:15)
- Tries to establish agreement (covenant/partnership) through what you accept, believe, speak, or act on.
Quick “dream discernment” questions
- Did this dream push intimidation, confusion, torment, or hopelessness?
- Did it try to make me feel powerless or trapped?
- Did it push me to agree with a lie about who I am, what YAH said, or what will happen?
What to do immediately (wake-up response)
- Recognize it: this is spiritual pressure, not my identity.
- Refuse agreement: I renounce every agreement with fear (spoken, believed, imagined, or accepted in a dream).
- Submit + resist: I submit to YAH and resist the enemy. (James 4:7)
- Speak life: death and life are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)
- Stand in authority: I have authority in Messiah. (Luke 10:19)
