Missing context: why prayer and praise are called offerings

In the Tabernacle and Temple, offerings were brought before YAHUAH with reverence. Incense was burned before Him, and sacrifices were offered morning and evening. These physical offerings pointed to a deeper spiritual truth: YAHUAH receives worship from a clean, humble, obedient heart.
