James 1:4 teaches that patience/endurance must be allowed to finish its work so that we become mature, complete, and lacking nothing. In YAHUAH, wholeness is not rushed. It is formed through trust, obedience, endurance, and shalom.
James 1:4 (NKJV) — “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
“Lacking nothing” does not mean a life with no needs, no process, no testing, or no dependence on YAHUAH.
It means YAH is forming maturity, completeness, steadiness, and wholeness in us so that we are not ruled by inner lack, fear, instability, impatience, or striving.
YAHUAH often uses endurance to complete what comfort cannot produce. Patience gives His work room to mature us.
James does not say to escape the process. He says to let patience have its perfect work.
That means we allow endurance to complete what YAH is forming in us instead of rushing, quitting, complaining, controlling, or trying to deliver ourselves before the work is finished.
