For the future Kingdom, the strongest biblical “future John the Baptist archetype” is not necessarily another man named John. It is the Elijah-forerunner / wilderness-prophet / repentance-witness pattern that appears again in end-time prophecy, especially through Malachi 4, Matthew 17, and Revelation 11.
