Purpose: This page is a gentle prayer guide for sitting with a loved one who may be near death. The aim is to point the heart back to YAHUAH, invite repentance, pray for mercy and salvation through Yahusha, and comfort the family with Scripture.

Heart posture

• Come with love, humility, gentleness, and peace.
• Do not force fear, pressure, or panic into the room. Speak calmly and pray with compassion.
• Ask YAHUAH for wisdom, mercy, forgiveness, comfort, and the leading of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh.
• Remember: YAHUAH alone knows the heart. Our part is to pray, love, speak truth, and entrust the person into His hands.

Immediate prayer focus

• Pray the salvation prayer with the loved one, if they are willing and able.
• Lead them to confess sin, repent, forgive others, receive forgiveness, and call on YAHUAH for mercy.
• Pray Psalm 32 — The Joy of Forgiveness.
• Pray Psalm 51 — Create in me a clean heart, O Elohiym.
• Pray for peace over the room, comfort for the family, and YAHUAH’s presence to be near.

Simple salvation and repentance prayer

ABBA YAHUAH, I come before You with a humble heart. I confess my sins and ask You to forgive me. Wash me, cleanse me, and create in me a clean heart. I believe that salvation belongs to You through Yahusha, Your Anointed One. Have mercy on me, receive me, and let me belong to You. I forgive those who hurt me, and I ask You to help me release every burden into Your hands. YAHUAH, be my refuge, my salvation, and my peace. Amein.

Scriptures to pray aloud

• Psalm 32:1-5 — Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven; confession brings mercy.
• Psalm 51:1-12 — Cry for mercy, cleansing, truth in the inward parts, and a clean heart.
• Romans 10:9-13 — Call upon YAHUAH and believe; whoever calls on the Name of YAHUAH shall be saved.
• 1 John 1:9 — If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse.
• Acts 7:59-60 — Stephen prayed, “Master Yahusha, receive my spirit,” and asked forgiveness for those who harmed him.
