Anchor Scriptures (read aloud)

• Numbers 20:8 — “Take the rod… and speak to the rock… and it will give its water.”
• Matthew 7:24–25 — The wise one hears and does Messiah’s words and builds on the rock; storms reveal the foundation.
• Exodus 33:21–23 — Yahuah places Mosheh in a cleft of the rock and covers him with His hand as His esteem passes by.

1) “Build on the Rock” means build your life on Yahuah Himself

• In Matthew 7, Messiah is not describing information. He is describing obedience flowing from trust.
• The “storms” do not create the foundation. They reveal what you built on.
• The Rock is stable, immovable, and faithful. If the house falls, it was not anchored.

2) Speaking to the Rock: relationship, reverence, and alignment

Numbers 20 teaches a priestly pattern:

• Yahuah’s instruction was not to perform power in anger.
• Yahuah said to speak to the rock. Speech in Scripture is often tied to:
  • faith (agreeing with Yahuah)
  • authority under order (saying what He says)
  • relationship (communion, not control)
