The heart is the inner person where thoughts, motives, desires, and decisions are formed. YAHUAH sees it clearly, even when people cannot.

Key Scriptures (Read slowly)
- Genesis 6:5 — YAHUAH saw that the wickedness of man was great, and that every imagination of the thoughts of the heart was only evil continually.
- Luke 24:38 — “Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?”
1) What the Heart Produces
- The heart has thoughts (Luke 24:38).
- The heart has imaginations and patterns (Genesis 6:5).
- The heart can become a “factory” that produces either righteousness or wickedness.
Reflection questions
- What kinds of thoughts have been “arising” in my heart lately?
- Are my imaginations feeding faith, obedience, and purity, or fear, unbelief, and compromise?
2) Guarding the Heart
- Proverbs 4:23 — Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.
Practices to guard the heart
- Bring thoughts into obedience (2 Corinthians 10:5).
- Refuse bitterness and unforgiveness (Hebrews 12:15).
- Feed the heart with truth (Romans 10:17).
